The Law Offices of Keesling & Associates has a prominent criminal defense practice which includes all types of misdemeanor and felony charges such as murder, rape, robbery, drugs possession and DUI. The firm's civil law practice is equally diverse, encompassing commercial and civil litigation, real estate litigation, family law, and employment issues.

Client's Rights
- You are entitled to be treated with courtesy and consideration at all times by your lawyer and the other lawyers and personnel in your lawyers office.
- You are entitled to an attorney capable of handling your legal matter competently and diligently, in accordance with the highest standards of the profession. If you are not satisfied with how your matter is being handled, you have the right to withdraw from the attorney-client relationship at any time (court approval may be required in some matters and your attorney may have a claim against you for the valued of services rendered to you up to the point of discharge).
- You are entitled to your lawyer's independent professional judgment and undivided loyalty uncompromised by conflicts of interest.
- You are entitled to be charged a reasonable fee and to have your lawyer explain at the outset how the fee will be computed and the manner and frequency of billing. You are entitled to request and receive a written itemized bill from your attorney at reasonable intervals. You may refuse to enter into any fee arrangement that you find unsatisfactory.
- You are entitled to have your questions and concerns addressed in a prompt manner and to have your telephone calls returned.
- You are entitled to be kept informed as to the status of your matter and to request and receive copies of papers. You are entitled to sufficient information to allow you to participate meaningfully in the development of your matter.
- You are entitled to have your legitimate objectives respected by your attorney including whether or not to settle your matter (court approval of a settlement is required in some matters).
- You have the right to privacy in your dealings with your lawyer and to have your secrets and confidences preserved to the extent permitted by law.
- You are entitled to have your attorney conduct himself or herself ethically in accordance with the Code of Professional Responsibility.

Our Team
David R. Keesling is the founding member of Keesling & Associates, PC. He is a graduate from the University of Tulsa, College of Law receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1997. He is also a member, in good standing, of the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the Federal District Courts for the Western, Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma.
Mr. Keesling served as an active duty and reserve officer in the United States Marine Corps, wherein he achieved the rank of Captain. During his service career, Mr. Keesling was stationed at Quantico, Virginia, Camp Pendleton, California, San Diego, California, and the U.S. Naval Reserve Readiness Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. For his service he was the recipient of several awards to include the National Defense Medal, the Naval Achievement Medal and the Naval Commendation Medal.
Mr. Keesling’s has practiced law in Oklahoma for ten years, with the last six years devoted to: criminal defense, family law and real estate. Mr. Keesling also possesses representational experience in Employment and Labor Law, Injunctive Relief, Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, Guardianships, Estates and Probate, and Juvenile Adjudication.
Mr. Keesling’s professional associations include the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is also an active member of the Family Law section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Mr. Keesling has been featured on various television programs as a legal expert, including Fox 23 and KTUL Channel 8. Additionally, he has been heard on KRMG and ESPN radio.

Paul D.Q. Haddock, Esq. graduated from the Oklahoma City University, where he was awarded his Bachelor of Liberal Arts, Cum Laude in 1992. Mr. Haddock graduated from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law in 1995, receiving his Juris Doctor degree. He is also a member, in good standing, of the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the Federal District Courts for the Western, Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma.
While at the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Haddock was a member of the Dean’s Honor Roll, a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Local Government and the George J. Fagan Endowment recipient for the best paper on Municipal Finance Law. He was also a contributing editor to Professor Emeritus, Osborne M. Reynolds, Junior’s “Handbook of Local Government” (West Publishing Co.), and Professor Randall Coyne’s “Capital Punishment and the Judicial Process” (West Publishing Co.). Mr. Haddock also served as a member of the American Indian Law Review at the University of Oklahoma, College of Law.
Graduating from the Navy’s Tactical Operations School as an Honor Graduate, Mr. Haddock served in the active-duty U.S. Naval Reserves, from 1987 to 1995, as an Electronic Warfare Operator. During his service career, Mr. Haddock was stationed at the U.S. Naval Reserve Readiness Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and attached to the Naval Weapons Station, Concord, California. He received the National Defense Award (Operation Desert Storm), the Meritorious Service Award and maintained a secret security clearance throughout the duration of his military service.
Mr. Haddock’s has practiced law in Oklahoma for over eleven years, with the last five years devoted to: creditor rights, asset recovery (including municipal government) and secured transactions, corporate formation, governance and dissolution; asset preservation (limited liability and trust formations, tax and exemption planning) contracts and real estate representation (including condemnation). In the preceding four years, Mr. Haddock served as in-house corporate counsel for two telecommunication corporations, where he routinely negotiated favorable international business contracts and provided counsel to the businesses concerning state and federal telecommunication tariffs and regulations.
His first year in legal practice, Mr. Haddock was in-house counsel with a home health agency, where he focused on Title VII U.S.C. Social Security-HCFA Law. Other practice areas include the Uniform Commercial Code, debtor-creditor rights, federal and state bankruptcy, receivership and or insolvency proceedings, with an emphasis on Chapter 11 business reorganization. Mr. Haddock also possesses representational experience in Immigration and Labor Law, International Collection Law, Family and Domestic Law, Injunctive Relief, Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, Real Estate transactions, Guardianships, Estates and Probate, and Juvenile Adjudication.
Regarding Mr. Haddock’s business representation, he routinely consults with numerous and varied small-business clients (1 to 5 Million Annual Gross Income) concerning entity formation, dissolution and restructuring in conjunction with asset protection and recovery, as well as integrated planning for estate and tax minimization strategies. Contract formation and disputes are integral to most of Mr. Haddock’s client affairs. Examples of Mr. Haddock’s corporate-related work product include: buy-sell agreements, asset enforcement; telecommunication ‘dedicated’ and ‘switched’ services contracts, business trade-secret enforcement, software development and licensing, vendor reseller agreements, confidentiality contracts, commercial real-estate sales and foreclosure actions, finance and guaranty transactions, corporate governance and stock issuance. Local government examples include fines, warrants, utility and other delinquent municipal services debt recovery.

Timothy S. Kittle, Esq. graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he was awarded his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Magna Cum Laude in 1984. In 2002, Mr. Kittle received a second Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he graduated with a 4.00 GPA and was the recipient of the Lee Davis Writing Award. In 2006, Mr. Kittle graduated from the University of Tulsa, College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor degree. He is a member, in good standing, of the Oklahoma Bar Association and Wisconsin Bar Association.
Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor degree, Mr. Kittle served for twenty years as a law enforcement officer. He is a 1985 graduate of the Huntsville, Alabama Police Academy where he was named the Outstanding All-Around Cadet. In 1992, Mr. Kittle completed the Metro-Nashville-Davisson Police Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. As a law enforcement officer, Mr. Kittle was certified by the Training and Standards Boards of the states of Alabama, Tennessee and Wisconsin and has since been certified in Oklahoma by the Counsel on Law Enforcement Education and Training. During his law enforcement tenure, Mr. Kittle served as a uniform patrol officer, a robbery-burglary task force member and an under-cover narcotics investigator.
Since becoming a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Mr. Kittle’s practice has primarily been devoted to litigation in the areas of criminal defense and family law. Among other things, his focus in these areas of litigation are search and seizure issues, evidentiary foundations, special and general guardianships, juvenile deprived actions, and child support enforcement.

Brynna Schelbar joined Keesling & Associates in July of 2008. Ms. Schelbar is a graduate of University of Colorado where she received a Bachelor of Arts in History. Ms. Schelbar completed her formal education at the University of Oklahoma, College of Law where she received a Juris Doctorate in May of 2006. Ms. Schelbar was accepted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2006 and has since maintained her membership in good standing. Ms. Schelbar’s professional employment experiences include 2 years of private practice in Norman, Oklahoma. Ms. Schelbar’s practice areas are focused toward Family/Domestic Law and Probate. Ms. Schelbar's representative experience also includes Criminal Defense, Labor & Employment, Commercial transactions and litigation, civil litigation and Appellate work.

Brinton Skalnik joined Keesling & Associates in June of 2005. Mr. Skalnik is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Mr. Skalnik completed his formal education at the University of Tulsa, College of Law where he received a Juris Doctorate in May of 1990.
